The shop makes giant cookies with elaborate icing designs and messages which are usually pretty impressive, but since Pia wasn't trained her work wasn't quite up to scratch yet. She claimed that she had to work everything out for herself, "I had to find recipe books to tell me how long to leave the cookies in, nobody even told me how to long bake them for, let alone how to make those giant cookie cakes." So when a woman ordered a cookie cake with a birthday message on, Pia had to tell the woman that she couldn't do those yet, since it was her first day and she was the only one in working. "Long story short, she bullied me into taking the order," Pia said. But since she wasn't sure how to make the cookie cake the brand new worker felt overwhelmed and began to cry. Luckily, a worker for Thornton's spotted Pia in distress and offered to ice the cookie for her. "By this point I'd already f*cked up three of four cookies, so I have to make another big cookie and this girl from Thornton's iced it for me," she explained. But the annoying customer wasn't done yet, instead of picking up the cookie cake, she called the shop to ask for it to be delivered to her work - despite Pia being the only worker in the shop. Pia claimed the woman threated to call HR and report her if she didn't leave the shop to deliver her order, so the Thornton's worker helped out again and delivered the cookie.
