A dad is alleged to have brutally beat his 14-year old daughter with a shower curtain rod on Monday after she exposed his affair to her mum.
The Alabama teen showed Barbara Nicole Andrighetti a social media account she believed Christopher Andrighetti was using behind her back.
Mr Andrighetti stands accused of of hitting his child with a shower curtain pole, throwing glass bottles at her and punching her inside their trailer home, police deputies in Franklin County said.
She only managed to escape the attack after he went to the fridge to get a drink, fleeing to the house of a neighbour, who subsequently called the sheriff’s department.
