NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has been handed a touchline ban for Saturday’s Premier League clash against Southampton.
Klopp was shown a red card in the final minutes of his side’s 1-0 win over Manchester City on 16 October, later admitting to ‘losing it’ after berating match officials over the decision to not award Mohamed Salah a foul.
Klopp received a £30,000 fine following an investigation by the Independent Regulatory Commission.
But the Football Association took the rare step of appealing that decision last week, seeking a stronger punishment.
