Man Utd and Liverpool told price to complete Moukoko transfer after World Cup

Moukoko could leave Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window, with growing concern among club chiefs at the Bundesliga giants that he will not sign a new contract

Manchester United and Liverpool will reportedly have to pay just £26.2million if they want to sign wonderkid Youssoufa Moukoko in the January transfer window.

Moukoko has starred for Borussia Dortmund this season, having first made his debut back in November 2020. He has scored six goals and notched six assists so far this season, as well as holding the record for being the youngest player to feature in the Bundesliga.

But his contract at Signal Iduna Park expires at the end of the season, with growing concern among Dortmund chiefs that he will leave on a free transfer at the end of the campaign. Given his clear talent that would be a disaster for the German club and so they are preparing to sell him this January.

That has drawn the interest of both United and Liverpool, who are among the clubs eyeing a move for him. Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain are also in the race to sign the 17-year-old attacker.
