VIEWERS of Aldi’s Next Big Thing were left furious at the outcome of the latest episode of the innovative competition series.
The Channel 4 programme sees food product developers and suppliers from across the country face off against each other in a bid to win a contract to have their products sold in Aldi.
Aldi’s Managing Director of Buying, Julie Ashfield, headed up the team of judges who were sampling the products week by week alongside award winning grocer Chris Bavin and presenter Anita Rani.
In the latest episode, Aldi were looking to expand its deli range and welcomed a bunch of new hopefuls to compete for the supermarket seal of approval.
After being put through their paces, the competition was whittled down to just two as the Greek Farmer and I Am Nut OK.
