What a Sandals adult-only all-inclusive holiday in Antigua is really like

By Sadie Whitelocks, Freelance Writer | Avid-adventurer – 26 countries in 12 months, two polar regions, one Mountain, hand luggage only.

Free-flowing cocktails for free, all you can eat restaurants and no tipping… Metro.co.uk delves into the world of all-inclusive holidays with one of the world’s best known all-inclusive providers, Sandals, to see what they’re all about.

At the age of 35 I’d never been on an all-inclusive holiday as an adult and to be honest I was a little apprehensive of what this type of trip would offer.

As a keen adventurer, I like being active on holiday as opposed to sitting on the beach and I love obscure locations – give me Mongolia over Magaluf any day.

But in a bid to try out a different kind of holiday, far away from anything I’d usually go for, I ventured to Sandals in Antigua with my partner for a week away in the sun on an all-inclusive adults-only break.
