Liverpool news: Reds rivalled for “world’s biggest talent” after witnessing ‘next Frank Lampard’

Jurgen Klopp’s side have been keeping tabs on one of Erling Haaland’s former Borussia Dortmund teammates who the Norwegian dubbed “the biggest talent in the world”

Liverpool scraped through to the last 16 of the Carabao Cup with a penalty shoot-out victory over League One outfit Derby County on Wednesday as the Reds lacked a clinical finisher on the night.

However, plans may already be in advance to snap up one of European football’s brightest prospects next year, although Liverpool will now face competition from north-west rivals Manchester United.
