Brad Pitt outstayed welcome in Aston Martin garage F1 and left team “stressed”

Hollywood actor Pitt recently spent some time in the F1 paddock to research his role in an upcoming movie based around the sport, but as much as it was a pleasure, he also got in the way a bit

Brad Pitt left Aston Martin staff feeling “stressed” after staying in their garage for a bit too long at the United States Grand Prix last month.

The American was in the paddock throughout the weekend researching for his new role as a Formula 1 driver in an upcoming movie. Pitt met F1 chief executive Stefano Domenicali as well as all 10 team bosses, even spending some time with some teams in the pits.

Aston Martin were among those to receive the Oscar-winning actor, and it seems he may have outstayed his welcome a little. “They were with us for a very long time, much longer than expected,” team principal Mike Krack told Motorsport Magazin. “To be honest, it even messed up our schedule. We were a bit stressed then.”

But Krack also made it clear he was very happy to play a part in the early stages of the production, expressing his belief that the sport will benefit from Hollywood exposure. “We will support the project as best we can and see how involved we are. [Team owner] Lawrence Stroll was also involved,” added the Luxembourger.
