Matt Hodges, 40, from south London first found success as a celebrity personal trainer to the rich and famous thanks to a brief role as Neil the barman in EastEnders in 2007
A personal trainer has shared some of the weird ways rich people try to lose weight – including wrapping themselves in plastic and a diet that gave him PTSD. Matt Hodges, 40, was once an extra on EastEnders but instead of pursuing a career in acting, he became a personal trainer instead.
But he kept his book of contacts and had clients that were super rich and famous, and now he’s lifted the lid on the “farcical” health fads they use to try and shift the pounds. From covering themselves in plastic wrap to drinking period blood, Matt has shared the best, or worst, stories he’s heard in a new tell-all book – ‘Behind Gym Doors’, which will be released in December.
What do you think about health fads? Let us know in the comments…
