Fashion brand Adidas is reportedly ‘planning to bring back Kanye West’s Yeezy footwear’ â without the controversial rapper’s branding and ‘under a new name’
Kanye West’s Yeezy footwear will reportedly ‘go back on sale with Adidas’ â but they’ll be ‘sporting a new name’, without the controversial rapper’s branding.
The fashion brand is allegedly planning to bring out new Yeezy trainers, without the Yeezy name and associated logos, as early as 2023.
Reports suggest the company has ’emphasised to their shareholders’ that it remains the ‘sole owner of the core designs of the current Yeezys in circulation’.
That reportedly includes ‘shoe silhouettes and colourways’. TMZ reports that the brand “feel they have every right to keep hawking them”.
