Lily Allen returns to West End for Martin McDonagh revival after winning debut

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Lily Allen is returning to the West End to star in a revival of Olivier Award-winning play The Pillowman after her triumphant theatrical debut last year.

The 37-year-old singer-songwriter first trod the boards in 2:22 – A Ghost Story alongside Encanto’s Stephanie Beatriz and Inbetweeners actor James Buckley at the Noel Coward Theatre in August 2021.

For the role, she was awarded best performer in a female-identifying role in a play at the WhatsOnStage Awards and nominated for an Olivier Award for best actress.

In upcoming The Pillowman, she plays main character Katurian, an author who is arrested due to suspicion surrounding his gruesome short stories.
