Meghan & Kate not as ‘popular or influential’ as more ‘beloved’ royal

The Royal Family is incredibly influential, especially now that the latest season of The Crown has debuted on Netflix. Who are the most influential members of the Royal Family?According to a study, neither Kate Middleton nor Meghan Markle are the most influential member of the Royal Family.New research can reveal the most talked-about members of the British Royal Family, with the late Queen Elizabeth taking the top spot.Other interesting findings included the fact that King Charles ranked behind both of his sons, Princes William and Harry.The study was conducted by Financial World, analysed global Google searches, TikTok views and Instagram hashtags for 29 of the most popular royals in the world, to see which one had the biggest influence of all.  READ MORE: Queen Letizia gets ‘slim figure’ in 28 days – ‘inspiring role model’ Meghan and Kate are not most influential royal (Image: GETTY) Kate is second most influential and Meghan is third most influential royal (Image: GETTY)The late Queen Elizabeth pulls in a total of 4.7 million Google searches a month, features in 1.6 million Instagram hashtags, and has had 18.7 billion views on TikTok under her hashtag, making her the most mentioned and searched-for royal ever. However, another royal came very close to the late Queen in second place.The newly appointed Princess of Wales, Kate Middleton is the royal with the second biggest influence, boasting 1.4 million Instagram hashtags, 2.9  million Google searches per month and 6.3 billion views on TikTok of videos that contain her. Meghan Markle came in third place as the most influential royal.
