MANCHESTER UNITED have been fined £82,000 by the FA for failing to control their players.
The offences occurred during matches against Newcastle and Chelsea last month.
Both incidents saw Red Devils players surround the respective referees protesting decisions.
United were found to be in breach of FA Rule E20.1 after Cristiano Ronaldo and his team-mates protested the decision to disallow the striker’s goal during the 0-0 Old Trafford draw with the Toon.
And they have been punished for a similar incident against Chelsea, when they complained about the awarding of a penalty for a foul by Scott McTominay on Armando Broja.
