Russian official in Kherson died in ‘car crash’ hours before retreat from city

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

One of Russia’s top officials in Ukraine was killed in a car crash today, his boss said.

Kirill Stremousov, 45, was installed as ‘deputy governor’ of Kherson region, a port city on the Black Sea.

The death of a major official of the Russian-installed local administration comes amid a struggle to keep military control of the area for Vladimir Putin’s forces.

Russian troops were reportedly ordered to withdraw from the area today in a major humiliation for Putin as It is the only regional capital the Kremlin had seized during the eight-month war.
