Kate spoke of her hopes for integrated children’s centres being created across Britain to help parents and babies
The Princess of Wales has called for maternity and children’s services to “join the dots” to help new mothers, saying more “holistic” support works to boost their confidence.
The Princess, visiting Colham Manor Children’s Centre in Hillingdon, London, spoke of her hopes for integrated children’s centres being created across Britain to help parents and babies.
The centre brings midwives, health visitors, social workers, charities and specialist psychiatrists under one roof to help vulnerable mothers navigate their children’s early years.
“I think more places like this would be so valuable in communities, bringing people together,” the Princess said.
