A police officer was injured on the M25 this morning after a lorry crashed while Just Stop Oil protests were taking place.
Essex Police said it put a rolling roadblock in place to deal with the activist, which led to one of their officers being struck.
One person was arrested for causing a public nuisance, added the force.
It said in a statement: “We’re currently responding to an incident and a subsequent lorry collision on the M25.
