Russia bought killer drones using £123m

RUSSIA has bought killer drones from Iran for £123 million after plundering Western weapons, a security source has claimed.

Moscow paid the amount in cash alongside the weapons – including a British missile- in return for the deadly kamikaze drones.

The source told Sky News that the cash, a British Next generation Light Anti-tank Weapons missile, a US Javelin missile and a Stinger anti-aircraft missile were transferred to an airport in Tehran by a military aircraft.

The deadly weapons were intended for the Ukrainian army but “fell into Russian hands”, the source said.

They said that Iran’s terrorist army the Revolutionary Guard, will be able to copy Western technology, adding “They will probably be reverse-engineered and used in future wars.”
