The shopper always thought M&S was the more expensive supermarket option – but he was pleasantly surprised to find a number of bargains in its new value range
A regular Tesco shopper has claimed he “won’t be going back” after spending £16 on his weekly shop at Marks and Spencer.
MyLondon reporter Dan decided to ditch his usual supermarket of choice. When he reached the checkout, his weekly shop came to £16.19.
It comes as M&S recently increased its own-brand offering to compete with cheaper supermarkets like Aldi.
The range, branded the “Remarksable Value” range offers basics from milk, eggs and meat to microwavable rice and baked beans.
