A SAVVY shopper managed to bag a whole week’s worth of food shopping from Asda for less than a fiver.
Eilish Stout-Cairns, 26, from Newcastle, shared how she keeps her weekly food budget to just £5 with money-saving community LatestDeals.co.uk.
Using savvy tools and sticking to home-brand value range foods at the supermarket, she’s worked out how to shave £100s off her weekly food shop.
She said: “Before the rise in inflation, I used to just go to the supermarket with a bit of a list in my head and buy whatever I saw that looked good.
“Now that money’s tighter, I’ve started researching cheap products before I go to the shops, and this helps me keep my spending under a fiver.
