SHOPPERS face a £682 grocery bill hike as the price of food continues to rocket.
Grocery price inflation has hit a record 14.7% amid warnings there is still no sign of a peak.
The news comes after consumer price inflation hit 10.1% in September and is back to a 40-year high, meaning the price of things you need to stock up on are rising.
This makes everything much harder to afford.
And the rising cost of groceries has added roughly £682 more to the annual cost of a basket of food.
