The 1975 singer Matt Healy has done and said some questionable things in the past but apparently eating raw meat on stage might just top them all.
The British rock band brought their At Their Very Best world tour to New York City’s Madison Square Garden on Monday night in celebration of their latest album Being Funny In A Foreign Language.
You never truly know what you’re going to get when Matt, 33, steps onto the stage – as his mum Denise Welch recently found out – but fans probably didn’t have raw meat on their bingo cards.
Clips from the band’s latest gig show Matt kneeling on the stage while shirtless and chomping hard into a huge slab of raw uncooked, unseasoned meat – Lady Gaga and her meat dress would be proud. Needless to say, fans who were both in the audience and who didn’t manage to see the theatrics live, had questions.
