Gavin Williamson denies telling civil servant to ‘slit your throat’

NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT

Sir Gavin Williamson is now accused of telling a senior civil servant to ‘slit your throat’ when he was defence secretary.

The former official told the Guardian that Sir Gavin made the remarks in a meeting in front of colleagues, and also told them to ‘jump out of the window’.

They added Sir Gavin, who was sacked by both Theresa May and Boris Johnson when they were prime minister, ‘deliberately demeaned and intimidated’ them on a regular basis.

In a statement, Sir Gavin said: ‘I strongly reject this allegation and have enjoyed good working relationships with the many brilliant officials I have worked with across government.
