A married woman allegedly kidnapped and killed pregnant mother to take her unborn child – and her husband admitted to helping cover up the horrific crime.
The married couple, Amber and Jamie Waterman, were arrested on Thursday in connection with the disappearance of 33-year-old Ashley Bush, who was 31 weeks pregnant when she was found dead with her fetus in another location.
Amber allegedly created a fake Facebook account under the name Lucy Barrows to lure Bush into meeting her about a job opening. But Amber really intended to steal Bush’s fetus, according to a federal criminal complaint obtained by 5NEWS.
Bush had complications during her fourth pregnancy and was told to take time off work, but she looked for a work-from-home position in a Facebook group for moms, her fiance Josh Willis told the TV station.
