This year’s Call Of Duty is still the UK number one, as retailers get ready for the release of God Of Ragnarök and Sonic Frontiers.
This week’s UK top 10 couldn’t look more mainstream if it tried, as despite a lack of prominent new releases retailers get ready for Christmas.
God Of War Ragnarök and Sonic Frontiers are out this week but last week the biggest new entry was Bratz: Flaunt Your Fashion at number 15, followed by WRC Generations at number 22 and Harvestella at number 25.
Modern Warfare 2 did have a very good second week though, with sales dipping by an unusually low 42%, so it’s no wonder other games wanted to stay out of its way. Although Nintendo also had a good seven days, with even the less mainstream friendly Splatoon 3 and Mario + Rabbids Sparks Of Hope seeing a rise in sales – although Bayonetta 3 fell 11 places to number 14.
