Following Macy Blackwell's rules means you will no longer be throwing decorations on the tree as they come out of the box. She's left viewers wowed by her incredible tree that looks very high end, and has revealed a few easy tips for those wanting to go the extra mile with their decorations this year. Macy suggests by suggesting that people should invest in plenty of lights to really make it sparkle - adding that wow factor. "Make sure to wrap each branch individually," Macy says. "You need at least 100 lights per foot of your Christmas tree." Next up is the addition of fake snow: "Make the appearance of freshly fallen snow by cutting a faux fur ribbon and place horizontally to create the look of freshly fallen snow". The illusion perfected, she moves onto the next stage, adding big decorative branches into the tree. "Big stems should be placed in the same direction of the branch and I focus the majority of mine at the top," says the TikToker. Any 'holes' in the tree should be plugged with large ornaments, says Macy. "They should be nestled deep in the tree and attached closely to the branch."
