Daniel Peacock, who starred as Mental Mickey in Only Fools and Horses, has swapped the small screen to work in a care home after his late father spent time in residential care
Only Fools and Horses star Daniel Peacock spent more than four decades working in television, but he’s now swapped the small screen for a job in a care home.
The actor, who played Mental Mickey in the iconic BBC sitcom, has a newfound passion for helping others and says his new role has “made me a better person”.
Daniel was encouraged to get his first-ever “real job” three years ago when his famous dad Trevor Peacock, who played Jim Trott in The Vicar of Dibley, moved into a residential home due to his battle with dementia and Alzheimer’s.
Around this time, Daniel had just finished writing the second series of his TV comedy Marley’s Ghosts and found himself at a loose end.
