Aldi has revealed a teaser for its much-anticipated Christmas advert, but the short clip with Kevin the Carrot is proving so popular some people think it is the real deal
Aldi fans have praised the supermarket for having the best Christmas advert this year – the only problem is the festive ad has not been released yet. The supermarket has unveiled an exciting teaser for its highly-anticipated Christmas ad, which will soon be revealed.
But the short clip, which features Kevin the Carrot, has proven so popular with shoppers many thought it was the real thing. In the new 50-second video, Kevin and his family are getting ready to jet off to Paris for a Christmas break, when the devoted dad grumbles about an upcoming ‘football tournament in December’.
In a cheeky twist, a number of famous footballers, or rather famous footballers reimagined as vegetables, then emerge, before enjoying a kickabout around the airport.
The one-of a-kind match, which includes players like ‘Ronaldi’, ‘MmmBap’, ‘Macarooney’, and ‘Beth Swede’ has delighted sports fans. But the video, which pays tribute to the iconic 1998 Nike World Cup Advert, has also gone down a treat with movie fans.
