PETER Kay made a rare public outing when he took a pal and her terminally ill daughter to lunch.
The Phoenix Nights comedian, 49, – who recently thrilled fans with an appearance at a charity gig – was continuing his kind-hearted actions at a pub near Burnley.
Mum Nicola Nuttall, whose daughter Laura is battling stage four brain cancer, took to her Twitter page to show her thanks to fan-favourite Peter.
Peter has been largely out of the spotlight since a surprise appearance at a charity screening of his series Car Share in 2018.
He cancelled his last stand-up tour in December 2017, citing “unforeseen family circumstances”.
