Former President Donald Trump’s team has reportedly discussed announcing the launch of his 2024 campaign on the Monday following the midterm elections.
Trump could officially announce his bid for the presidency on November 14, and a series of political events stretching multiple days may follow, three sources with knowledge on the talks told Axios on Friday.
The report comes a day after Trump in a rally in Sioux City, Iowa, told the crowd: ‘In order to make our country successful and safe and glorious, I will very, very, very probably do it again… Get ready that’s all I’m telling you – very soon. Get ready.’
Trump apparently had long planed to announce shortly after the midterm elections, which take place on November 8.
