NEWS… BUT NOT AS YOU KNOW IT
Heartstopper’s Yasmin Finney has said her new role in David Tennant’s Doctor Who specials will ‘change the world’.
The actress, 19, will be joining the anniversary special episodes as Rose, which are all written by returning Doctor Who writer Russell T. Davies.
Young LGBTQ+ icon Finney will be appearing alongside Tennant, officially confirmed as the Fourteenth Doctor, and Catherine Tate, who will be reprising her role as Donna Noble.
After the specials, Sex Education’s Ncuti Gatwa will assume the role of the Fifteenth Doctor, but whether Finney will continue in her role past the specials is unclear.
