What you actually get in Celebrations tubs

As Mars Wrigley the manufacturers of Celebration chocolate look to release ‘no bounty tubs’ we looked into how much chocolate each box contains and whether they are all the same.

With Christmas just 51 days away, it’s almost socially acceptable to start adding Baileys and mince pies to your supermarket shopping trolley. And of course, the festive season isn’t complete without a tub (or five) of Celebrations.

But Mars Wrigley has upset many fans this year by revealing it’s going to remove Bounty sweets from some of the tubs, claiming 40% of their customers have said they don’t like the coconutty taste of paradise. While some haters are delighted by the change, others are calling for a Liz Truss-style speedy U-Turn and say Christmas is ruined.

The controversial news has started the annual discussions about the tubs early this year, and of course the rows about which of the sweets are the best. But what do you actually get in those famous red pots?

Always asking the important journalistic questions, we decided to do a little experiment here at Mirror HQ. We compared the contents of 10 tubs to see how the contents differ.
