Following his post, Kyrie and the Nets agreed to donate $500,000 each to "causes and organisations that work to eradicate hate and intolerance in our communities". Kanye's picture of Kyrie has received more than 240,000 likes and racked up more than 24,000 retweets. After his initial social media post was deleted, Kyrie released a joint statement with the Nets and the Anti-defamation League. It read: "I oppose all forms of hatred and oppression and stand strong with communities that are marginalized and impacted every day. "I am aware of the negative impact of my post towards the Jewish community and I take responsibility." The restrictions, thought to be in place for the next 30 days, mean Ye won't be able to post, comment or send direct messages on the platform for the duration. He has also had previous content removed from his account. As well as the social media ban, Kanye has been dropped by a number of big brands, including Adidas, something which has cost him his billionaire status.
