Like many people, the 21-year-old did not realise that if your passport is damaged in anyway it can be rejected at the airport – something that saw her missed a trip to Disneyland
A Disneyland fan missed out on a holiday to the beloved resort after her niece deliberately ripped her passport.
The disappointed holidaymaker was unable to fly to Paris with her friends after discovering the document, as there are strict rules around the state your passport has to be in to fly – and damage means it could be rejected at the airport.
While a few scuffs are unlikely to see you turned away from your flight, other damage can have serious consequences.
The spurned holidaymaker claimed that her six-year-old niece, J, was so jealous of the trip that she sabotaged her plans.
