Shelley Duvall, well known for her role as Wendy Torrance in The Shining, is set to return to acting for the first time in 20 years in upcoming horror film The Forest Hills
Shelley Duvall is making her long-awaited return to the silver screen, having famously retired from showbiz 20 years ago.
The 73-year-old star of Stanley Kubrick’s The Shining has made her first acting appearance in two decades, starring in the trailer for her upcoming horror film The Forest Hills.
Shelley, who also played Olive Oyl in Popeye, hasn’t appeared in a movie since 2002’s Manna From Heaven, though that’s now about to change.
The Forest Hills follows a man named Rico (Chiko Mendez) who “is tormented by nightmarish visions after enduring head trauma while camping in the Catskill woods,” according to a synopsis.
