A family have been left devastated after their pet cat was ‘killed by a firework’.
Domino was found with singed and burned fur as well as her head and part of her left side missing at her owners’ garden in Harrow, London.
Her owner said that on Monday night, at around 10.30pm, she and a neighbour recall hearing the sound of a firework and something similar to a scream.
Items which looked like firework plastic shrapnel pellets were also found all over the garden – along with a firework rocket.
