IMRAN Khan has been shot in the leg in an alleged assassination attempt.
A gunman is said to have opened fire while the former Pakistani prime minister was giving a speech to supporters at a rally in Wazirabad in the east of the country.
Khan was rushed away from the scene and his supporters said he had survived the assassination attempt.
Shocking footage showed him being bundled into a car after the shooting.
According to local reports, the suspect has been arrested.
