When we came to write our guide to the best advent calendars of 2022 we realised just what a huge task we had taken on. The market for advent calendars has absolutely exploded this year. In fact, it looks like December 1 is going to be almost as exciting as December 25 for opening gifts. As well as the classic chocolate advent calendars there are beauty advent calendars, alcohol advent calendars and food advent calendars of every kind imaginable, from marshmallows to mince pies.
