99p item creates ‘fewer wrinkles’ on clothes without an iron, claims expert

Creased clothes can be a nightmare, especially for those who don’t own an iron. Wrinkles in laundry can be caused by a number of things, such as being stored in a suitcase or being left in a pile for too long. Creases can make clothes look untidy and unprofessional, so it’s important to iron them out before wearing them. There are a few different ways to get rid of creases in clothes. The most obvious is to buy an iron and an ironing board. Another way to get rid of creases is to try using a steamer to get rid of creases. Steamers are less likely to damage delicate fabrics than irons, so they are a good option for clothes that are made from silk or other sensitive materials. However, like irons, steamers can be pricey and most people don’t want to fork out for a new device if they can help it. 99p item creates ‘fewer wrinkles’ on clothes without an iron – the creases just ‘drop out’ (Image: Getty) No matter which method you choose, it is important to iron or steam your clothes regularly to keep them looking their best. But what if there was a way to prevent creases in clothes in the first place? Sarah Dempsey at Myjobquote.co.uk , the UK’s leading trades matching site, exclusively told Express.co.uk that clothes can ‘soften’ clothes and create ‘fewer wrinkles’. Alternatively, you can use steam to remove wrinkles.’ White vinegar is acidic which means it will soften clothes while freshening clothes. The acid in the vinegar also dissolves soap residue which further softens clothes. White vinegar can be bought from local supermarkets or online. Stardrops White Vinegar Multi-Purpose Cleaning Spray costs 99p from Asda and Dri-Pak Pure White Vinegar costs £2 from Ocado.
