After Former U.S. President Donald Trump’s third indictment, some major head-turning accusations were revealed. Documents have shined more light on the insurrection and election fraud.
For the third time, Former U.S. President Donald Trump has been indicted. On Tuesday, he was charged with four criminal counts, leaving court documents full of shocking details.
The United States District Court for the District of Columbia says: “Despite having lost, the Defendant was determined to remain in power. So for more than two months following election day on November 3, 2020, the Defendant spread lies that there had been outcome-determinative fraud in the election and that he had actually won. These claims were false, and the Defendant knew that they were false.”
According to the documents, Trump was accused of creating an “intense national atmosphere of mistrust and anger” which led to the depletion of “public faith in the administration of the election.” These are the most jarring parts of the document.
The former President contacted state officials across seven different states. He asked them to look into a variety of claims of election fraud. These states were Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.
